In the era of
globalization, we certainly know about the gadget called Smartphone. if we
follow the history of it, we will know that the first gadget which was made
with “Smartphone” term is Ericsson GS 88 Penelope in 1997. But people just knew
about Smartphone Operating System for the first time when Research In Motion
(RIM) released BlackBerry Curve series in 2007. That’s when the higher-priced
gadgets started to be loved by the elite.
If we look at
the current circumstances, there are so many people from the elite to the
middle to lower class who use BlackBerry smartphone. It means BlackBerry
becomes more adaptable in the current state of society. While in the other
hand, Android Smartphone Operating System appears as another popular smartphone
in the middle of Blackberry popularity with various prices, affordable by all
people.
Within the
two smartphones in the middle of technological developments, of course people
need to know about the advantages and disadvantages from each smartphones.
While Android is a Linux-based operating system designed
primarily for touchscreen mobile
devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. It was initially
developed by Android, Inc. and is currently being continued by Google. It provides
an open platform for their users to develop their own applications. Its browser
is relatively fast and its producers are so many, such as Samsung, HTC, Motorola,
LG, etc.
The two
smartphones have different advantages, but they have the same disadvantages,
such as having wasteful batteries. For now, many people prefer to Android than
Blackberry. Why? It’s because of Android’s advantage. People are interested in
their applications. Why don’t they prefer to BlackBerry? Well, we can find
instant messenger anywhere and not only in BlackBerry. Even there’s already
instant messenger that is more excellent, such as Skype, Whatsapp, and Viber.
